喜报 | 南开两江中学学子在第25届“希望之星”英语风采展示大会中荣获佳绩

“希望之星”是一档源自中央电视台的电视英语节目，自2000年起每年举办一届，旨在为全国英语爱好者搭建一个激励英语学习、培养思辨能力、展示综合才华的舞台。本次风采展示大会以“未来已来，过去未去”为主题，我校学生以激情澎湃的演讲、敏捷的思维和流利自如的回答，展现了扎实的语言功底和出色的思辨能力。

在为期六个月的第25届“希望之星”英语风采展示大会中，同学们经过初评、复评和市总评的角逐，以不懈的努力取得了优异的成绩，作为英语演讲教练，我深知语言的力量和全球视野的重要性，你们在大会中展现出的自信、才华和坚持，充分体现了我校 “培养具有全球视野和创新能力的世界青年”的教育理念，致力于让每一位学子在国际舞台上绽放光彩。“未来已来，过去未去”深刻地揭示了我们所处的时代。希望同学们能够继续保持这份热情和动力，勇敢迎接未来的挑战，追求更高的目标。

Following the receipt of this award, I am exceedingly thrilled. Nonetheless, throughout the competition, numerous individuals deserve my gratitude. Firstly, our supervisor, Jason. Regardless of the preparation and rehearsal, he consistently mentors me patiently, motivates me, and provides numerous invaluable recommendations. Subsequently, my parents, particularly my mother, accompanied me throughout the rehearsal process. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to myself. Over the years, I have consistently participated in numerous contests of this nature, accumulating ample experience in the process. Furthermore, I have exercised strict vigilance in refining my performance. Ultimately, I am convinced that hard work indeed paves the way for success.

After finishing this competition, I felt really good. For me, this event has improved my speaking skills and given me more confidence, among other benefits. Because I'm not the greatest in my group, I believe I should dedicate more time to preparation. All in all, this has been a memorable experience for me.

I learned a lot from the Star of Outlook competition. I can improve my language skills by speaking on stage and enhance my thinking ability through the question-and-answer sessions. I am grateful for the opportunity and thankful to my parents and teachers for their constant support. I will continue to study hard to improve myself in the future.
